are still highway robbery. The cheapest unlimited plus talk plan you can get on AT&T *starts* at $75/month and dont forget the $20 or so dollars of bullshit fees you can’t contest and taxes. Thats $1140/year to internet from your phone at shitty speeds with spotty reliability.
If you want to stretch this into a larger perspective. Think about how much people are shoveling over to large media and communications conglomerates over time. That $1140/year is a sunk cost in addition to many others that surely don’t find their way into your local economy.
